Both business conferences are being tailored to support SMEs looking to enter or expand their business in the Dutch/UK markets. Some 80+ SMEs and individuals are expected to attend each event and an attractive package of sponsorship opportunities for one or both events has been developed exclusively for NBCC Member companies to enable them to reach out to and engage with this key audience.

About the Conferences

The programme for each conference is being designed to support attendees; build the insights and the connections needed to break in to and succeed in each country. The conferences will help them avoid the pitfalls, overcome the red-tape and connect them to the services they will need as they build or expand their businesses.

Insights

Within a full, one-day programme, attendees at each event will hear from companies who have successfully conquered the Dutch or British market and the actions they took to meet the challenges that so often threaten new ventures. Themed break-out sessions will provide opportunities to build knowledge in key areas such as cross-border accountancy, tax, legislation, HR, business development and company formation. These sessions will be hosted by specialist member companies of the NBCC. Representatives from the Dutch/British Embassy, local Chambers of Commerce and a professional panel of business experts will also be on-hand through the events to provide additional input and insights on doing business in the Netherlands or in the UK.

Connections

A facility will be made available for attendees to pre-arrange one-to-one meetings with other attendees and experts at the event. In the lead-up to the event, conference organisers can also help recommend connections each company should make.

*The “mirrorside” of this event, focusing on Dutch companies looking to develop their UK business, will be held in the Netherlands on 22 September 2015. Please contact us for further information on this event.
